The School Council consists of the principal, six elected parents, four elected staff representatives and four community members. The electorate for the purposes of electing ALL elected members comprises all parents and staff.

The School Council sets policy directions but the day to day operation of the School is the responsibility of the Principal.

Members are elected for a period of 2 years with half the elected council retiring each year. Retiring members may renominate for election. Council elections occur in March of each year. Co-opted members are nominated annually.

The School Council has a number of sub-committees whose membership is open to non-school council members . These sub committees include Policy and Learning, Community Relations, Finance and Environment.

Any parents/guardians interested in attending or participating in School Council subcommittees are encouraged to contact the school for meeting dates.
