VCE
The School offers a wide range of subjects and programs to suit students' learning needs. The programs cover Science/Maths, Humanities, Business, Arts and Technology. Year 11 students have the option of taking year 12 subjects to enhance their opportunities for tertiary entrance. Students are able to complete the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) which is a hands on /vocational alternative to a traditional VCE. The College also offers a wide range of Vocational Education and Training programs (VET) at both certificate 2 and 3.
We monitor and support students in the following ways:
- Electronic attendance rolls are marked for every class and parents notified within 24 hours of absences
- All students have a careers plan developed in year 10 and meet with the Careers/Pathways advisors at least twice a year
- Students at year 10 and 11 complete a comprehensive study skills program
- Students receive a progress report and an opportunity for parent interview at the end of every term
We are very proud of our VCE students whose efforts and talents were rewarded by many excellent results. These results have resulted in entry to University, TAFE, apprenticeships and the workforce.
