Facilities

The junior school features purpose built learning centres. These give younger students the security of belonging to their own small and caring learning community. Specialist facilities include air conditioned home rooms, computer pods, their own locker bays and recreational areas.

Year 9 & 10 students have air conditioned home rooms with access to computer pods

VCE students have their own centre with a computer pod, common room with attached facilities and access to the Careers centre.

Specialist facilities include

• Fully equipped gymnasium with weight lifting facilities
• Soccer, football and rugby fields
• Basket ball and tennis courts

• Technology area including wood work, metal, automotive and food department
• Art rooms
• Three computer laboratories with multi-media and 6 pods
• Radio and TV studios

• Canteen and cafeteria

• Drama and Music

Thornbury high School also has spacious and attractive grounds which provide a secure and pleasant environment for learning, study, sport and recreation.
